Leaving a legacy

sketch of will & testament

Leaving a legacy in your Will is the only certain way you can be sure that your wishes are carried out. When you are making your Will, your first concern will naturally be for your own family and friends, but if you can also remember Wokingham, Bracknell & Districts Mencap we will be extremely grateful.

Leaving a gift to your favourite charity means they can continue the work you supported during your lifetime. Not only that, charitable bequests in your Will are free of tax. Your gift, whatever the size, can make a substantial difference to the lives of people with a learning disability and give them opportunities they might not otherwise have had. Please think of us when you write your Will and ensure that your legacy is clearly marked for Wokingham, Bracknell & Districts Mencap to avoid any confusion with the Royal Mencap Society.

Thank you.
